Heavy Rains Tuesday Follow Favorable Planting Progress Report
December corn closed down 2 cents and November soybeans were down 3 3/4
cents Tuesday after USDA reported near-normal planting progress for the most
recent week in the U.S. July contracts of winter wheat ended modestly higher,
supported by another day of concerns about crop conditions in the Black Sea
region.

GENERAL COMMENTS:
July corn closed down 2 1/2 cents and December corn was down 2 cents. July
soybeans closed down 11 3/4 cents and November soybeans were down 3 3/4 cents.
July KC wheat closed up 4 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was up 8 3/4 cents and
July Minneapolis wheat was down 1/2 cent.
